Google+ have finally released Google+ Pages for everyone. It might seem a bit bare compared to Facebook, however it shows great potential. This post examines the clear distinctions between a Facebook Page and what opportunities it has to grow.

Removing Ubuntu 11.10 Overlay Scrollbars
Needless to say I’m not a Big fan of the Overlay Scroll bars that have been introduce since Ubuntu 11.04. Despite news that you can even activate the Overlay Scrollbars that will be featured in Ubuntu 12.04, I still prefer the traditional space consuming, not so pleasing to the eye, but practical as hell scrollbars. Here’s how you disable the new scrollbars.
Ubuntu 11.10 with Gnome 3.2
There has been a lot of hype about Gnome 3.2, atleast their release notes promise the sun and the moon. Fed up of Unity, I switched to Gnome 3.2. This posts gives a brief guide to enable Gnome 3.2 as well as my 2 cents on it.
Tweaking Ubuntu 11.10 with Applets and Adobe Air
Starting off with Ubuntu 11.10 there are a few things you have to get used to. The un-customizable Gnome Panels (same in 11.04). Lack of Adobe Air install candidate. Here are a few work-arounds.
Ubuntu 11.10 Oneiric Ocelot
Oneiric means Dreamy or relating to Dreams. Ocelot on the other hand is a small Leopard. So this Ubuntu 11.10 release calls it self a Sleepy/Lazy Stunted Leopard. Like the name says this release seems to be below par. I get the feeling that Mark Shuttleworth was rudely awakened from his dreamy slumber and forced to put something together in a hurry. Never the less this post hopes to look at what is ‘new’ and ‘useful’ they have to offer.
